  1. Cullen - Diana Madeline

Delicate crimson and garnet ruby colour. The plum, mulberry and blackcurrant aromas cascade out of the glass bringing high notes of rose and violet. Savoury ironstone and tobacco complete the classic aroma profile of Diana Madeline.Fine grained tannin with uplifting and sustained fruit notes. Red fruit and plum flavours connect with the ironstone minerality, providing backbone and structure. This medium bodied elegance is deceptive as the depth and length on the palate are profound. Drink now and up to 40 years.

  3. Johnsons Block Shiraz Cabernet

Johnson's Block is a dry grown vineyard in the heart of the terra rossa. The first vines were planted there in 1925. The 2004 Wynns Coonawarra Estate Johnson's Block Shiraz Cabernet is a tribute to Johnson' vineyard and the excellent fruit that is produces. The wine is a traditional style, with red fruits and black pepper, framed by fine tannins. This wine was matured for 15 months in a combination of new French and one-year-old American oak. Deep purple with crimson highights. The wine shows a very lifted nose with aromas of raspberry seeds, red fruit and violets. Cherry and raspberry fruit flavours flood across the creamy oak palate. Rounded tannins and delicate nutty, walnut flavours make for a complex wine with a light, powdery tannin finish. Lingering flavours of smoky oak, strawberry and fennel complete this delicate, elegant, almost ethereal offering.

  6. O' Dwyer Cabernet Sauvignon

The Cabernet Sauvignon is crafted from grapes harvested from 70+ year old vines that are dry grown or unirrigated. The grapes are hand picked, processed in small 2 tonne fermenters, hand plunged or punched and pressed using traditional wine making methods. The wine is then aged for 20 months in a combination of high-end French and American oak, 25% being new oak and the balance one and two year old oak. The age of the vines ensures balanced, low yielding Cabernet which has great varietal characters and definition. These varietal characters are prominent, with blueberry and violets and hints of spice. The palate is flavoursome and tight with a balanced fine tannin finish. This wine is drinking well now but will benefit from careful cellaring.
