Wine Comments
Pristine fruit, lively acidity and fine velvety tannins. Oak ageing has added a little spice and roundness to complement the structure of this classically cherry scented Gevery-Chambertin.

The Domaine
Combe d’Or, or ‘golden valley’, is named after the Combe Lavaux, a beautiful nature reserve near the communes of Gevrey Chambertin and Brochon. Frustrated at being unable to find a Gevrey that offered both good value and the hallmark characteristics of this appellation, we found an excellent grower from whom we were able to buy some wine and put it under our own label. This will enable us to dictate quality with future vintages.
