  1. Clos d'Estima

    From Penedès, Clos d’Estima is a blend of equal proportions of Tempranillo and Syrah and is aged for 3 months in French oak barrels. Both varieties fuse themselves in a single wine, which will gradually unravel its full identity within the wine glass.

  2. Exibis

    Exibis is a blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Sumoll and 20% Mando (a grape variety that does not appear on the label as it is not a recognised despite being a local variety). Fresh and light opening with nothing interrupting the luminosity of the fruit. Sumo and Mando take center stage giving texture and tension. Lots of extract with dominance of sweetness and sensation of lightness. Huge complexity for a wine with notable youth and purity. High end.

  3. Bodegas Emilio Moro - Resalso

    From the selection of younger vines this Finca Resalso was born, with a strong cherry red colour and violet tones indicative of its youth. As we approach the glass its fragrance and intensity fill the senses. The youngest example of Emilio Moro's wines, it expresses itself with marked primary aromas of mulberry, licorice and black forest fruits. A tasty and appetizing ensemble which, on the palate, shows its vocation as an expressive and intense wine but with a well-developed structure that makes it pleasant to drink.

  4. Bodegas Alejandro Fernandez - El Vínculo

    One hundred percent Tempranillo (Cencibel) from bush-pruned vines, with malolactic fermentation and 18 months' aging taking place in American oak barriques. 2010 combines the velvety ripeness and rich texture of previous vintages, adding elements of freshness and restraint. A great vintage.

    This wine comes from a selection of mid-aged vineyards representing the most important soil types, which is why the wine reflects a variety of aromatic nuances and taste sensations, with complex and harmonious notes due in part to its 12 months of aging in oak barrels.

  7. La Rasa

    La Rasa is a blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Sumoll and 20% Mando (a grape variety that does not appear on the label as it is not a recognised by the Pla de Bages D.O. despite being a local variety). The vineyards are situated in the Northern part of Catalonia in the DO Pla de Bages. It is an extremely well crafted wine by Joan Soler rising-star winemaker in Pla de Bages. This wine has a meaty body, with a very supple and elegant structure combining acidity and tannins.

  9. La Rioja Alta - Viña Ardanza  Reserva especial

    The 2001 Vina Ardanza Reserva Especial is a blend of 80% Tempranillo and 20% Garnacha from their vineyards in Fuenmayor and Rioja Baja respectively and it represents only the third vintage to be declared after 1964 and 1973. Aged in American cask for 36 months, it has a bucolic, natural bouquet of bright red cherries, balsamic, mint and a touch of dried honey all with superb delineation. The palate is medium-bodied with wonderful delineation and supple, lithe tannins. The acidity is very well judged and it leads to a pert, tense finish of bitter cherry, loganberry and licorice. This is an outstanding wine drinking perfectly now, but it should age effortlessly. Drink now-2030.

  10. Bodegas Alejandro Fernandez - Pesquera Tinto

    The 2017 Tinto Pesquera Crianza is aged for 18 months in 90% American and 10% French oak. It has a ripe bouquet of dark plum, cassis and dried violets that is well defined and becomes more generous with each swirl of the glass. 100% Tempranillo from gravel benchland and calcareous clay meseta (high elevation) vineyards between 20 and 40 years of age. An elegant middleweight vintage with pure fruit expression and minerality, good length and excellent structure for aging. Unmistakable 'Pesquera bouquet.'
