  1. Pouilly-Fuissé Veillies Vignes 'La Croix'

    There is a nice lemony nose with notes of pear and honeysuckle. The fruit is fresh and pure, and the touch of mineral reminds you that yes, you are drinking white Burgundy. Splendid purity and no lack of energy. A wine with lots of class that it will have you checking the label to see if you’re not drinking a more illustrious name! Absolutely delicious with scallops, seabass, cod, monkfish and white meats like turkey.
    Jean-Jacques Robert is discreet but he certainly knows how to make wine and we are privileged to have some!

    This 2015 is very impressively elegant and is a blend of 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Franc. It is aged 12 months in oak barrels. The dark ruby red colour matches the cassis, soft fruits and plum aromas. On the palate, the balance is perfect and the tannins are succulent. Soft finish, where flavours last and last.

  5. Isole e Olena - Syrah

    The first Syrah vines, which came from the Rhone Valley, were grafted onto old Canaiolo vines in 1984. Paolo De Marchi’s intention was originally to use the Syrah in the Classico Chianti blend, together with Sangiovese and Canaiolo but he was so encouraged by the results that in 1987, he planted a new vineyard with Syrah clones from France. The wine spends one year in barrel, of which 25% is new French and American oak and it remains two years in the bottle before release. It is complex and soft on the nose, and its intense palate reveals lush and powerful fruit. This is a rich, gamey, quintessentially Tuscan Syrah. It is perfectly integrated with elegant, finely grained oak notes, and tremendous persistence.

  6. Inniskillin `Gold` Vidal Icewine

    The aromas of this unique Icewine show apricots and peaches along with candied brown sugar. The rich texture shows great balance of natural sugars and acidities and the oak ageing adds layers of complexity amidst the intense fruit flavours. Lingering aromas and flavours persist on the long finish.

  7. William Downie Gippsland Pinot Noir

    Rich cherry, blackcurrant, blackberry and poached plum with clove, nutmeg and some floral notes. Dense and concentrated. The palate shows cigar box and forest floor with more dark fruits. Fine but present tannin. Some oak showing at this early stage. Textured and long.

    Very aromatic, lifted and intensely perfumed with violets, rose petal, lavender and liquorice as well as musk, blackcurrant and loganberry. A core of granite derived minerality adds definition and precision. The palate is richly textured, long and fine. A distinctive wine with a long future.

    "The complex and rich nose reveals itself on candied and citrus fruits aromas. Also, floral fragrances and a hint of citrus with spices notes can be perceived. The mouth is smooth, fresh and round with a lovely finish on citrus fruits aromas, typical of the Vermentino grape variety. A great wine to drink now or to age for 5 - 7 years in the cellar." The grapes are selected from the best north hillsides of the domaine and after harvest, they are sorted in the vineyards and in the cha.The fermentation and the ageing are done in oak barrels during 8 to 10 months, depending on the vintage. No fining or filtering before bottling.

    This classic Bordeaux Blanc is marked by youthful notes of citrus that evolve into toasted hazelnuts over time. A well-structured base of Sauvignon Blanc provides precision at release, while Sémillon adds a supple beeswax texture, elevated by spring floral tones. A fine special occasion wine, perfect for seafood risotto, poultry and oranges with herbs or lightly aging cheeses. This rich Bordeaux Blanc was produced in the classic method, in barrique with regular bâtonnage or stirring up of spent lees.
