  1. Domaine Robert-Denogent

    Saint Véran is an appellation in the Mâconnais region next to that of Pouilly-Fuissé. The grape of choice is of course Chardonnay and Robert Denogent's wines are among the best we have ever tasted from the Mâconnais. This Saint Véran is powerful, with a a complex nose reminiscent of Bourgognes Blanc from further north. Denogent's wines are fermented using indigenous yeasts and are aged in oak for up to 18 month which is unusual in this part of the appellation. Very rich and complex, a bit flinty and with bright acidity.

  2. Domaine Laurent Tribut - Chablis

    Bright yellow in colour with aromas of honey, lemon and peach. The palate is full and lively, with delicious fruit flavours and textbook minerality running onto the long, refreshing finish.

    Captivating, expressive nose offers lemon, white flowers and powdered stone. Sweet, lush and supple, but with a strong mineral character and good citric cut giving this a serious spine and extending the finish.

  7. Château des Rontets, Pouilly-Fuissé ‘Clos Varambon’

    Clos Varambon is a wine made for early drinking. Very elegant and pure on the palate (without being too rich) it displays aromas of white flowers, pears, white peach leading to subtle expressions of the limestone soil. A seductive wine showing great energy in the glass.

  8. Pouilly-Fuissé Veillies Vignes 'La Croix'

    There is a nice lemony nose with notes of pear and honeysuckle. The fruit is fresh and pure, and the touch of mineral reminds you that yes, you are drinking white Burgundy. Splendid purity and no lack of energy. A wine with lots of class that it will have you checking the label to see if you’re not drinking a more illustrious name! Absolutely delicious with scallops, seabass, cod, monkfish and white meats like turkey.
    Jean-Jacques Robert is discreet but he certainly knows how to make wine and we are privileged to have some!
