  1. La Bastide du Claux - Barraban Blanc

    La Bastide du Claux 'Barraban' is made from a blend of 7 different white varietals. The average vine age is 30 years, but the Ugni Blanc is 70 years old. After fermentation the wine is aged on its lees for 9 months. Barraban is charming, well balanced with good poise and structure all the way to the finish.
    The myriad grape varieties really do add complexity and interest. This is a wine of substance and delicacy, with subtle perfume; a fine example of what the south of France can still do much better than anywhere else.

  2. La Bastide du Claux -Poudriére Rose

    A dry, refreshing rosé made from a blend of Grenache Noir (50 year old), Cinsault (45 year old) and Syrah (10 year old). A wine of surprising structure and length with an elegant balance of red fruit and subtle spice. Everyday summer rosé and wonderful without food but also fantastically versatile with BBQ meats, seafood, antipasta and fresh goat's cheese. Delicious and well priced.

  3. La Bastide du Claux "Malacare Rouge

    La Bastide du Claux 'Malacare' is composed of three red varieties with an average vine age of 25 years for the Syrah, 25 years for the Grenache and 60 years for the Carignan. After fermentation the wine is aged on its lees for 18 months in a combination of oak barrels and concrete tanks. Malacare personifies the Southern Rhône expression with a lovely balance between just ripe fruit and a good underlying minerality.

  4. La Bastide du Claux -L'Odalisque Blanc

    Sylvain Morey produces very good wines on the southern slopes of the Luberon. This white wine Odalisque mainly made with the Vermentino grape, complemented by Viognier and Clairette.This is a quintessentially Mediterranean Vermentino grape variety, retaining its acidity well even in relatively warm regions. It really demonstrates the talent of the winemaker, always in search for balance. The Vermentino shows flavours of green apple and lime, heightened by refreshing acidity, good richness and medium body. Delicious accompaniment to fish like turbot or John dory or even with meat such as veal.

  5. La Bastide du Claux - Le Claux

    La Bastide du Claux 'Le Claux' is a blend of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre with average vine ages of 60, 40 and 80 years respectively. The wine is aged on its lees for 15 months to add richness and complexity. (the Syrah is aged in oak barrels - 228l and 700l - and the Grenache and Mourvèdre are aged in tanks). Yields are quite low: 28hl/ha. Le Claux is poised with an elegant structure and rich, almost savoury fruit.

  6. Château Miraval rosé

    Miraval is a joint venture between Famille Perrin and Hollywood A-listers, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. Beautiful light pale pink colour. On the nose, fantastic bouquet with delicate aromas of white fruits, just-picked strawberries and floral notes. The mouth is complex with raspberry and wild strawberry notes, wild herbs, citrus and wet stone flavours. It has a refreshing acidity, thanks to the altitude of the vineyards, and a round, long, vibrant finish.

  7. Chateau de Pibarnon

    Undeniably, the sun-kissed region of Bandol produces some of Provence's greatest red wines. Located just east of Marseilles and Cassis, the appellations regulations stipulate that Bandol rouge must be made with a majority of the powerful Mourvedre grape and from vines a minimum of 8 years of age. In addition, all harvesting is done by hand, with red wines undergoing a minimum of 18 months in oak before release. Rich and deep, with excellent ageing potential and tremendous character, a well seasoned Bandol is the quintessential accompaniment to one Provence's most famous delicacies, a Gigot d'Agneau (garlic studded leg of lamb). 95 points and a Highly Recommended from the Wine Spectator

  9. Chateau de Pibarnon Blanc

    A bright, pale yellow in colour. An intense nose of tropical stone fruit aromas with a hint of white flowers. Dry and pleasantly tart on the palate with refreshing acidity and showing a touch of spice, the finish is ripe and lengthy. Serve with soupe au pistou, sea-bream with a sea-urchin sauce or crab souffle.

    "The complex and rich nose reveals itself on candied and citrus fruits aromas. Also, floral fragrances and a hint of citrus with spices notes can be perceived. The mouth is smooth, fresh and round with a lovely finish on citrus fruits aromas, typical of the Vermentino grape variety. A great wine to drink now or to age for 5 - 7 years in the cellar." The grapes are selected from the best north hillsides of the domaine and after harvest, they are sorted in the vineyards and in the cha.The fermentation and the ageing are done in oak barrels during 8 to 10 months, depending on the vintage. No fining or filtering before bottling.
