Château Musar
Musar Jeune Red, 2019

€29.50

750ml Bottle

This vintage has a deep crimson colour, a lovely black fruits nose with liquorice, mint and black olives.  A good concentration of black cherry and blackberry fruit on the palate balanced with fresh acidity, soft tannins and a long after-taste of morello cherries and clove. It is best enjoyed in its youth, served with grilled lamb, chorizo and southern French dishes, particularly meat dishes of the Languedoc.

Chateau Musar

Many people ask why Chateau Musar’s winery is more than a two and a half hour drive from the vineyards in the Bekaa Valley. When Gaston Hochar began making wine in 1930, the boundaries of Lebanon had not been set, and he wanted to ensure that his premises would be inside the newly demarcated country.
