Almost opaque with a purple hue, this is classic syrah from the Northern Rhone. Rich and spicy on the nose with an underlying savoury quality, the palate is rich and spicy too, with ripe approachable tannins. The finish is long, smooth and velvety.

Ruby red in colour, the 2009 Pèppoli is characterized by notes of cherry fruit well amalgamated with chocolate and vanilla from the oak aging. On the palate the wine shows much Sangiovese character with soft an silky tannins and a good persistence on the finish and aftertaste.

From a limestone based vineyard in the Bué area of Sancerre, this is very expressive and aromatic and head and shoulders above other Sauvignons at this price. A white flower and citrus oil nose is followed by a fantastically clear palate of lime pith, rock salt, nectarine and apple blossom. Juicy, silky and very moreish.

Light, clean and super dry, and increasingly fashionable as an accompaniment to seafood and sushi. This excellent Fino is bone dry with a fabulous tangy bite, but with a little more weight and body than Manzanilla. It makes a fabulous pre-lunch drink, and is simply delicious with salted nuts, charcuturie and seafood. Terrific value too.

Pale straw yellow coloured, with a delicate yeasty, bready note on the nose, as well as a hint of flower blossom. On the palate it is very dry, a crisp and fresh and a slightly saline finish.

Made from 100% Orange Muscat, Essentia has an aroma reminiscent of orange blossom and apricot. Its relatively high acidity makes it taste balanced, even with its considerable sweetness, more like a taste of fresh fruit. Essentia is used as a dessert accompaniment or a dessert in itself. Best served chilled. Pair with white fruits such as peach, pear or apricot.

Pale golden in colour, this wine opens with aromas of stone fruits and a touch of vanilla spice from the oak ageing. The palate has rich peach characters, with a creamy, honeyed texture lifted by stony minerality. Intense and concentrated through to the fresh finish.

Saint Véran is an appellation in the Mâconnais region next to that of Pouilly-Fuissé. The grape of choice is of course Chardonnay and Robert Denogent's wines are among the best we have ever tasted from the Mâconnais. This Saint Véran is powerful, with a a complex nose reminiscent of Bourgognes Blanc from further north. Denogent's wines are fermented using indigenous yeasts and are aged in oak for up to 18 month which is unusual in this part of the appellation. Very rich and complex, a bit flinty and with bright acidity.

Wines from two of Vinhos Barbeito's warehouses in Funchal and Camara were comined to make this wine. Aged in French oak using the Caneriro method. No caramel used in production.

Deeply coloured wine, almost black in colour with graphite, violet and blackberry aromas. The palate is fresh, linear and long to conclude. A wine with great potential.
This Syrah is aged for 24 months in old French oak barrels, with the aim of ensuring that the aromas and tastes from the wood are
