An outstanding port, with the caramel overtones of great colheita intermingled with the bright, ripe and deep red and black fruit flavours of vintage port. Vibrant and youthful, both on the nose and in the mouth, with a nice spirity kick on the end palate. A very rare vintage to find at all, let alone in Mathusalem.

Impressive finesse for the vintage, with beautiful, fresh tobacco, cedar and coffee aromas and flavours. Full-bodied and very silky with a fine, long peppery finish.
While this shows a definite maturity, I would never have guessed it was 29 years old - still going strong.
