Almost opaque with a purple hue, this is classic syrah from the Northern Rhone. Rich and spicy on the nose with an underlying savoury quality, the palate is rich and spicy too, with ripe approachable tannins. The finish is long, smooth and velvety.

Chardonnay , 2012

The Loire Valley can produce some delicious Chardonnay. This one is made by the Couillaud family who pays careful attention to growing methods using only organic and mineral fertilisers. This 2012 expresses green apples and pears on the nose. It is light with racy green fruit and a crisp, dry finish with enticing minerality. In many respects it is similar to Chablis and it’s a steal a the price! A really stunning Chardonnay that will please a crowd. Excellent with seafood, shellfish, chicken and pork dishes.

Ruby red in colour, the 2009 Pèppoli is characterized by notes of cherry fruit well amalgamated with chocolate and vanilla from the oak aging. On the palate the wine shows much Sangiovese character with soft an silky tannins and a good persistence on the finish and aftertaste.

The vineyards adorned an Irish green and plots were mowed like in a rugby stadium!
Sporting a ruby red colour this supple and seductive wine exhales an intense bouquet with notes of ripe red and black fruits along with a subtle spiciness.
Highly attractive blend of old vines Grenache, Syrah, Carignan and Cinsault. Round tannins, freshness, delicious balance. Juicy on the palate and very satisfying.
