The fruit is sourced from 35 specially selected grape growing families in the Robertson Valley. The Pinotage vineyards are grown in the lime rich karoo soils with fairly high clay content. This soil enables growers to use regulated deficit irrigation to control vine vigour and berry size. Pinotage quality benefits a lot if quite severe water deficit are induced between berry set and veraison. After a strict vineyard selection the selected fruit was harvested from middle February to first week in March.
Delicious flavours of ripe strawberries, bananas, juicy plums and rich red cherries, are well-integrated with notes of oak, followed by a wonderfully smooth finish.

The fruit was sourced from 35 specially selected grape growing families in the Robertson Valley. Vines are grown in deep cool alluvial soil that is rich in lime and receives an annual rainfall of only 280 mm per year. Fruit was harvested very early in the morning from the last week of February to the middle of March. Our Chenin Blanc vines are planted on the riverbanks with a row direction from northwest to southeast to utilize the prevailing sea breeze. The sea breeze cools down the fruit, extends the ripening period and builds up concentrated flavours in the grapes. The average annual rainfall is supplemented by controlled drip irrigation from the Breede River. An appealing light straw colour. Light with lovely ripe, attractive rounded fruit. Fresh floral nose and an exciting acid balance.

Pinot Noir is considered by mnay to be one of the most exquisite varieties in the world.Johanneshof Reinisch's Pinot Noir vineyards are found in the best sites on the property. Charming elegant fragrance and a good intensity, with smells and flavours of raspberries and a touch of blackberries. Soft, charming fruit, round tannins and a lingering finish.

Made of 50% Chardonnay and 50% Sauvignon Blanc. The wines are fermented separately, Sauvignon Blanc in stainless steel tanks and Chardonnay in large oak barrels, after which the final blend is made. Very captivating scent of exotic fruits including lychee, biscuits and butter tones. The palate is delicately creamy with an elegant acidity. A vibrant ‘cutting-edge’ wine that would pair well with fish as well as white meats, pasta dishes and vegetables.

Rich, voluptuous, fruit salad, pink grapefruit, jasmine flower. Fresh acidity persists and gives great length. Finishes with a flinty mineral touch. Deeply layered. Very opulent wine.

Medium yellow in colour with green tints. A bright, aromatic nose filled with crisp nuances of pink grapefruit, mango and sweet melon, interwoven with hints of soft white tea and honeysuckle. Bursting with juicy ripe fruits, the palate echoes the nose and boasts luscious flavours of pear, fresh pineapple, apricot and white nectarine. A light and slightly off-dry flavour profile lasts through the delightfully refreshing, clean finish.

Pale straw with green reflections. Rich and concentrated, with white flower and apricot notes. Smooth, medium-bodied with good fruit acidity.

Greenish yellow in appearance. The nose is aromatic and fruity with notes of peaches and pineapple. Well-balanced, round and mellow with good levels of refreshing acidity. A clear exotic fruit flavour with elegance and a medium to long finish.
