  1. De Martino- Alto Los Toros Syrah

Deeply coloured wine, almost black in colour with graphite, violet and blackberry aromas. The palate is fresh, linear and long to conclude. A wine with great potential.
This Syrah is aged for 24 months in old French oak barrels, with the aim of ensuring that the aromas and tastes from the wood are
not transferred to the wine and thus do not mask the characteristics typical of its terroir.

  3. Sequoia Grove Cabernet Sauvignon

Dark black in colour, the nose gives an immediate aroma of dark, smoky chocolate, leading into ripe blackberries and sweet cherries with notes of clove, vanilla and cocoa powder. The palate is smooth and rich with ripe, developed tannins giving the wine a full arc in the mouth and giving flavours of blackberry and a hint of smoky, sweet oak.

  5. Napanook 2011

The 2011 Napanook is deep, rich and intense for the year. Plums, mocha, spices, licorice all flesh out in an inviting wine to drink now and over the next few years. The 2011 has no hard edges or greenness, but the medium-bodied structure suggests it is best enjoyed sooner rather than later. The blend is 83% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Petit Verdot and 8% Cabernet Franc.

  10. Giorgio Primo La Massa 2001

"Broadly textured and rich, with dark aromatics leaning toward coffee, blackberry and a sniff of lemon zest. Dense plum, toast and licorice notes control the palate, and then a clean blast of chocolate rushes through. Very sweet and unctuous for Chianti, almost like dessert in a glass." Wine Enthusiast 92 points
"Velvety and rich, with plum, berry and coffee character. Full-bodied, with round tannins and a long chocolate, vanilla and berry aftertaste. Tight and refined now, but shows serious structure." Best after 2010. 5,000 cases only made." Wine Spectator 91 points
