From the selection of younger vines this Finca Resalso was born, with a strong cherry red colour and violet tones indicative of its youth. As we approach the glass its fragrance and intensity fill the senses. The youngest example of Emilio Moro's wines, it expresses itself with marked primary aromas of mulberry, licorice and black forest fruits. A tasty and appetizing ensemble which, on the palate, shows its vocation as an expressive and intense wine but with a well-developed structure that makes it pleasant to drink.

One hundred percent Tempranillo (Cencibel) from bush-pruned vines, with malolactic fermentation and 18 months' aging taking place in American oak barriques. 2010 combines the velvety ripeness and rich texture of previous vintages, adding elements of freshness and restraint. A great vintage.

This wine comes from a selection of mid-aged vineyards representing the most important soil types, which is why the wine reflects a variety of aromatic nuances and taste sensations, with complex and harmonious notes due in part to its 12 months of aging in oak barrels.
The combination of the origin of the oak and its level of toast is a direct consequence of the profound knowledge that the Emilio Moro family has about its wines and choosing those barrels that in recent years have shown the ability to provide finesse, elegance and tenderness.750ml bottle

The 2011 Pesquera Reserva offers up a complex aromatic array of balsam wood, espresso, lavender, incense, exotic spices, and assorted black fruits. Savory, ripe, and flavourful, it is in need of a bit more concentration, likely the result of the vintage. It will benefit from another 1-2 years of cellaring and drink well through 2022. "

Alión is a solid wine, and is the height of expression of the tinto fino grape ripened in the sun and intelligently made into wine. Its colour is concentrated, dark with a luminous and seductive edge, typical of its youth and seasoned by the wood. The aroma is unveiled with an intensity that is not very frequent in the wines from the Ribera del Duero designation of origin. It appears with hints of roast from the grape and top-quality wood. On the palate, the sweetened tannins of the concentrated black fruits blend with the dry creamy tannins of the French oak. It is full of flavour, strong, fleshy and unfolds a truly suggestive range of tastes.

The 2011 Flor de Pingus demonstrates wonderful purity on the nose, perhaps more feminine and wily than the 2010 with luscious raspberry, blackberry and forest floor notes. The palate is full-bodied with filigree tannins and a little more volume than the 2010. It seems generous and very supple at this early juncture with a caressing, peppery finish that is extremely well focused. There 2011 has awesome potential and I cannot wait to taste this after two or three years in bottle.
