Dark ruby colour. The nose shows a lot of freshness with hints of red fruit, blackcurrant, and some smoky minerality (regardless of the fact that it was never in barrel). On the palate it is dense, medium tannins, good grip, but not overwhelming. A Nicely balanced, easy drinking wine full of fruit and freshness.

This is an intriguing fresh, pure and fruit forward Macabeu.

Pure, elegant and fresh, the 2014 Tabula Rasa has terrific notes of white peach, white flowers and honeysuckle to go with a medium-bodied, layered, silky texture. The acidity is nicely integrated here and this is just hard to resist. Drink it over the coming couple of years.

Nice notes of raspberries and cherries found on the palate mixed with pepper and dark chocolate. Concentrated and full-bodied wine with a lot of sweetness and a firm amount of acidity. The tannins are soft and offer a pleasant bite. Great purity of the fruit. Stunning.

"The 2012 Côtes Catalanes 'Suis l'étoile', which is Carignan, Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre offers loads of smoke, toast, liquorice, and cured meats to go with a core of black raspberry, cassis and kirsch-styled fruit. Full-bodied, seamless, layered and balanced, with a blockbuster finish, it will deliver the goods over the coming 7-8 years, probably longer." The Wine Advocate 2014
