This is a powerful but well-balanced wine with good Chambolle character and excellent concentration. There is 20% whole berry fermentation here which, adds a patina to the tannins and a creamy, but fresh texture to the wines. On the finish there is more power than usual and notes of spice and cinnamon. This cuvée of Chambolle-Musigny "Vieilles Vignes" comes from about fifteen plot based in Chambolle-Musigny for an area of 3 hectares.
The average yield is 45 HL / ha, producing about 8,000 bottles per year.
