Terrenus is partially matured in new French oak barrels for six months with weekly bâtonnage. Pale straw colour. The nose is quite reminiscent of white flowers and delicate. The palate is extremely fresh and juicy with notes of ripe lemon peel. The granite soil adds minerality and complexity to this wine. Smooth, balanced, quite muscular with appetising freshness. Magnificent.
Rui Reguinga has established himself as one of Portugal’s greatest winemakers. He is behind the revitalisation of Northern Alentejo’s ancient wine region and the wines he produces from various Portuguese vineyards are simply uncompromisingly brilliant.
