Margaret's Hope Darjeeling comes from a tea estate located at 2000 metres of altitude, at the south of the province, near Kurseong city. This full-bodied black tea offers a dark cup. It is very aromatic, with lots of character and it can be enjoyed at anytime of the day.

Arthur Betjeman and Percy Barton established Betjeman & Barton on Paris’ Boulevard Malesherbes, in 1919. In fact, the two gentlemen were the first to create a shop entirely dedicated to tea, in the French capital. These two celebrated tea masters found the best teas from the world’s greatest tea gardens and plantations. Today, a team of four ladies, led by Agnès Defontaine, manage the centenary old business with determination and elegance. At Terroirs, we sell a small selection of their loose teas.
