"Firstly, a surprisingly dense brick/garnet core with some aging on the rim. An wonderful nose: dark chocolate mixed with kirsch with slight maderisation. The palate has abundant concentration : black espresso coffee, burnt creme brulee with a fine acidity. This actually improved in the glass, getting more harmonious and expressive and even more meaty."
