The Zorzal Reserve is a true biodiversity sanctuary located in the heart of the Dominican Republic. It is named after a small, endangered migratory bird, the Zorzal, or Bicknell's Thrush, whose preservation it helps. The cacao trees in this verdant valley produce exceptional organic cacao with a beautiful cocoa intensity. For us, showcasing this cacao has a special meaning because it was in the Dominican Republic that our wonderful adventure began in 2012. This 85% chocolate offers a beautiful balance between woody and fruity notes of plum, along with a subtle bitterness.
