Vignerons de la Sonsierra Camino de Ribas, 2022

Less than an hectare of 140 year old bush vines surrounded by wild aromatic plants thyme, rosemary …) planted inside the 'La Cóncova' vineyard at an altitude of 610 meters in the village of San Vincente de la Sonsierra. Exposed to strong north wind from the Sierra Cantabria, this parcel of primarily Tempranillo and Garnacha, Viura, and Garnacha Blanca is always harvested later. Grapes are fermented partially destemmed (70%) and whole-cluster for 30%. The wine is aged for 10 months in 500L French oak barrels in the cellar located underneath the castle of San Vincente de la Sonsierra.The result is a very aromatic wine, expressive with succulent summer berries. Pristine, complex and refined with velvety tannins. Glorious. Only 2,000 bottles produced.
