Medium-light green fruity extra virgin olive oil made exclusively from the FRANTOIO variety. Fine and elegant nose with expressive notes of fresh olives and wild herbs together with rosemary and rocket. Refined and harmonious on the palate with subtle bitter notes and delicate white pepper interplay on the finish.  Ideal with salads, fish or on fresh cheese. A few drops can also elevate a warm chocolate dessert. Packaged in a dark glass bottle with an anti-refill cap. Le Amantine is located in the heart of the Tuscia region in Central Italy in the Etruscan town of Tuscania. Marina Gioacchini grew up near Lake Bolsena and although a specialist in French literature, she took over her father’s olive grove over a decade ago. Marina’s grandfather planted the first olive trees in 1936 between Lake Bolsena and the Tyrrhenian Sea, at 330 meters above sea level. Then in the nineties, her father continued to plant thousands of olive trees, as well as walnut and chestnut trees, together with holm oaks. He also built his own mill – Mori-Tem – so that he was able to control the whole process from the farming of the olives to the extraction – a crucial stage. This is the same extractor that Marina uses today - a jewel of a piece of engineering.
