Pernot Belicard Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Champ Gain, 2018

Champs Gain is relatively high on the slope - up to 360m above sea level and Philippe Pernot’s 0.19 ha plot in the 1980’s. This is a fine premier cru with density and structure which has seen some new wood, about 30%. On the palate the texture is quite creamy with notes of white fruit. Very satisfying finish.
