Quintarelli produces his Amarone only in exceptional vintages, and when he does it is the benchmark for all Amarone. This collector's wine is primarily the indigenous Corvina blended with Rondinella and traces of Cabernet Sauvignon, Nebbiolo, Croatina, and Sangiovese. Replete with so many layers and flavors, Quintarelli’s Amarone demands to be contemplated rather than merely consumed. Always rich, opulent, sensuous and extraordinary, every vintage of this wine is a thing of beauty.
