Oro is a strong, full bodied, mature and balanced Balsamic Vinegar of Modena IGP, with a high proportion of sweet cooked grape must, and a small amount of wine vinegar. It aged in oak, chestnut and cherry barrels. Thick and dense, it is a great ‘all-rounder’ for the kitchen. Use it with cooked and raw vegetables, risottos, beans and pulses, mature cheeses (especially pecorino), fish, beef, lamb and pork belly. Ideal with ice creams and chocolate cakes. Density: 1.34.
The Società Agricola Acetomodena is nestled in the countryside of Modena. The newly built vinegar farmhouse is surrounded by the vineyards. The Vecchi family has been producing Balsamic Vinegar of Modena for more than a hundred years.
