Another great wine from Morgat. On the nose there is wet rocks, grapefruit, pear, stone fruits and a floral component. Rich yet precise! Oliy texture in the opening, with a hint of butter, then over to a more fruity and leaner finish with lots of acid and a slight bitternes. Since I do not know better I would say it has some vintage character. In any case it will keep well, and easily handles lots different foods
Eric Morgat can make wine in the most instinctual and profound way, and he is one of the defining producers of Chenin.
