The Times - Dec 2024
"Often referred to as one of the best oils in the world, this emerald green Tuscan oil has a complex flavour. It's aromatic with a hint of basil and will be the ultimate status symbol on your pantry shelf." Hannah Evans
Laudemio Frescobaldi 2024 boasts an emerald-green colour with fresh aromas of newly picked and crushed green olives, complemented by freshly cut grass, thistle, and artichoke hints. On the palate, it is bold, with a pleasant bitterness and spiciness.
The Frescobaldi family owns approximately 300 hectares of olive groves in the heart of Tuscany located at various altitudes, between 200 and 500 metres. The particular terroir along with the specific microclimate allow the olive trees to bear some of the most unique fruits. In medieval times, the name Laudemio indicated the part of the harvest reserved for the lord, owner of the lands. Today Laudemio Frescobaldi represents the highest excellence of extra virgin olive oil.
