The Tignanello 2019 is characterised by a deep ruby red colour with notes of strawberries and pomegranate that give way to exquisite aromas of apricots and peaches, as well as vanilla, dried flowers, chocolate, and nutmeg. Coffee, caramel, and aromatic Mediterranean herbs round out the scent. The palate is smooth and mouth-filling, with silky, lively tannins that lend vibrancy, sapidity, and a long flavour profile. The aftertaste has roasted coffee and dark chocolate flavours. Wine Spectator 96 points.
