Rui Reguinga
Quinta Vale Veados Tinto, 2019

€22.95

750ml Bottle

A wonderfully fresh and generous red made by winemaker Rui Reguinga. Rui is a perfectionist and one of the most respected Portuguese winemakers. Quinta Vale Veados “Deer’s Valley” is located in the heart of the Tejo area - north east of Lisbon - on ancient royal hunting grounds. A superb blend of Touriga Nacional (70%) and a dash of Syrah. Grapes are hand harvested. This medium bodied wine is partially aged in French oak barrels for 8 months. It shows very good aromatic complexity with ripe spicy fruit character and notes of ripe figs and prunes. Soft, round and well balanced on the palate. A delight with red meat and game. Top class at the price.
