This fudge is presented in slabs, the old fashioned way. The pure ingredients are added to the large brass pans, heated and stirred until they reach the correct temperature, at which point the golden liquid is hand-beaten, poured into trays and left to set overnight. The following morning the fudge is cut into slabs and packaged.
This sacred recipe was first manufactured over 100 years ago by Mrs Furnass at the Toffee Shop in Penrith, and has remained unaltered, providing a ‘dissolve-in-the-mouth’ experience. It is one of our best sellers.
