Château La Closerie des Moussis is a small domaine (under two hectares) that was established in 2009. It is run by two women, Pascale Choime, a trained oenologist and Laurence Alias, a qualified agronomist, who is passionate about sustainable development and ecology. The vineyard is run organically. La Closerie des Moussis has a subtle small dark berry nose, with a hint of juniper. The tannins are supple on the palate, with dominant red berry aromas (cherry, blackcurrant).
Laurence Alias and Pascale Choime followed their dream to produce wine in Médoc. Closeries des Moussis is their minuscule estate, sandwiched between world-renowned châteaux. What they produce is pretty outstanding.
