With its fresh and attractive notes of apricot and white blossom combined with lemony touches, this stunning white displays a bright, crisp and elegant finish with citrus vivacity. The lovely acidity provides freshness until the finish. It pairs beautifully with grilled fish, shellfish, Asian food, salads and it is also spot on for apéritif.
Michel and Jean-Philippe Cros belong to a group of emergent independent producers that have put Côtes de Thongue firmly on the map. Father and son’s shared passion and dedication seek the balance and delicacy of their very accessible wines.
Domaine Saint Georges d’Ibry is located in Côtes de Thongue, in the small village of Abheilhan, midway between Béziers and Pézénas. The Thongue is the little river that flows through the area and thus gives its name to the wine region.
