The gravels and sandy soil of the village of Macau bring freshness of fruit to the three-variety blend. In aroma terms, it’s fragrant cherry and cassis. This Haut-Médoc sings with fruit purity and freshness, yet there are satisfying fine tannins here too. Graceful.
Today, Clos du Jaugeyron consists of 8 hectares. 4 hectares in Médoc and 4 hectares in Margaux. The winery is located in the forest just next to their house, in the village of Arsac.
