This wild meadow honey displays a toffee-like colour and it offers a creamy texture, with floral notes. It is harvested on the Plateau du Coiron, which is located in Ardèche, at an altitude reaching 700 metres, and where the bees enjoy the thriving biodiversity among meadows and hedges.
Les Miels de Joyeuse are located in the village of Joyeuse, tucked away in the Ardèche region of France, near Aubenas. This area is steep and wild, with an exceptional biodiversity. The absence of pollution allows the bees to produce honey of the highest purity. The Miels de Joyeuse honeys are prepared by artisan beekeepers who are scattered in many French districts, and who manage small-sized apiaries. They are chosen for the excellence and gentleness of their beekeeping practices, and also for their high respect of biodiversity.
