'Les Grèves’ is the heartland of Beaune and Caroline Morey vines were planted there in 1999, right in the middle of the 1er Cru. A wine bursting with energy and very well structured showing a grapefruit style and a rewardingly persistent finish.
Caroline Morey has spent all her life in Chassagne-Montrachet and she has a strong and intimate knowledge about the terroir, the vineyards, the people, and above all she is a razor-sharp winemaker. Her wines vibrate with energy, and, essentially, they ooze class.
