Chene Marchand, 2016

Sancerre

€89.50

750ml Bottle

A selection of old vines from the mythical “Chêne Marchand” terroir for this emblematic vintage, in the village of Bué, with characteristic soils of limestone from Sancerrois and Caillottes. An organic approach for a fair expression of the terroir, sublimated by the precision of the aging in barrels and stainless steel vats which brings fine and distinguished woods. Reflection of the terroir, a chalky nose with sweet notes of pears to find in the mouth an intense minerality, an elegant salinity. The precision and balance of "Chêne Marchand" make it a great wine for aging.
